Dragon Solar TES tank to store daytime solar energy and release it at night — enabling Dragon to operate on renewable energy around the clock.

The patented innovation: solar collector output (55–80°C), Dragon regeneration band (60–75°C) overlap perfectly — no intermediate heat exchanger required.

Daytime: solar energy stored in tank. Night and cloudy periods: stored heat released for uninterrupted Dragon regeneration.

Dragon Solar TES is currently in pre-commercial development phase. PCT patent filed Q1 2026. First field deployment planned. Built on the validated Dragon liquid desiccant platform with 14 Years of operational history across 27 projects.

How Liquid Desiccant Technology Works

Absorption Phase

Ambient air passes through a liquid desiccant. The hygroscopic properties of liquid desiccant cause it to absorb moisture from the air with exceptional efficiency, simultaneously cooling the air through the absorption process.

Regeneration Cycle

The moisture-saturated liquid desiccant solution is heated to release the absorbed water. This regeneration process can utilize waste heat, solar thermal energy, or other low-grade heat sources, further improving overall system efficiency.

Water Recovery

During regeneration, the released moisture is condensed and collected as pure water—over 100 liters per hour. This water can be used for irrigation, cooling towers, or other operational needs.
